Love

Well, I managed to finish another LO last night after the chilliwinks had gone to bed. I started this one at the scrapstars retreat but didn't get very far. It's the Sarahs Cards May kit from last year (yes, I am that far behind!)..MME Stella and Rose. LO once again inspired by the lovely Rachel Elliots example in the kit. I loved doing this as for once I managed to get the sewing machine out which I rarely do.....and under Rachels suggestion I stamped the border in the centre...using a stamp I had never used before- and to be frank, was part of a set I couldn't even remember I had...you know ;-) . I'm really pleased with the end result. Think I'm going to try and squeeze a couple more LOs from this kit under my own steam using the sketch suggestions before I crack on with this months scrap a sketch LO.

These 2 beautiful LOs were taught by the lovely Emma Trout at the scrapstars retreat a few weeks ago. Plodding through all the unfinished projects slowly but surely. Let's hope I get them finished before I'm off to the Country Heart and Home retreat in a few weeks time and undoubtedly will come back with more!

Album

I was taught how to make these albums at the last scrapstars retreat...it took me a good few weeks after to complete but in the end I did it. Can't believe I forgot to put the pics up until now. It is decorated using the Bo Bunny Et Cetera papers. I'm going to use it for photos and memories of my dad so can't post the completely finished article.

Used leftover papers from a mini album and my new Tim Holtz die for the flowers. Journalling is on the hidden tags.

Seem to have had a bit of a break from crafting for a while, for one reason or another....but finally finished a couple of altered mirrors that have been in progress for ages........
